The BMTS and the Estonian Methodist Church are organizing a DAY OF MUSIC on February 3, 2024, starting at 11.00 a.m. in Tallinn Methodist Church!
All musicians active in church are welcome:
- instrumentalists and singers,
- choir leaders and choir singers,
- praise and worship singers and hummers,
- advanced and beginners,
- professional musicians and chord players,
- experts and enthusiasts ...
Anyone with the breath of life, come!
We will start the day with coffee and a panel discussion on: what is the purpose of music in the church and what kind of music do we dream of?
Among other things, we will try to map out the needs of the congregations of the Estonian Methodist Church regarding music and find solutions together. There will be workshops where you can be enriched by a few practical tips.
With musicians, there's no getting around the idea of jamming and worshipping together.
If necessary, we will arrange for translation into English.
The participation fee, which covers catering and organizational costs, is €15. We encourage the EMC congregations to pay the participation fee and, and if possible, cover the transport costs for their musicians.
To participate in Music Day, we kindly ask you to fill in the registration form, where you can indicate your preferences for workshop topics and add a workshop topic that is not yet on the existing list.
