On June 5, 2025, a festive event took place at the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary (BMTS) — the launch of the seminary’s new book series with the presentation of its first volume, “Timeless Bible – An Overview of Doctrine and History”, authored by theologian and lecturer Arne Hiob.
The book presentation was held during the Seminary’s Open Doors Day at 18:00 in the Methodist Church atrium. The evening was led by BMTS Rector Laur Lilleoja, who spoke with the author about the development of the book, the selection of topics, and the enduring significance of the Bible through the centuries.
The atmosphere was festive and warm. Many attendees came — members of the congregation, students, and theology enthusiasts from outside the community. Guests enjoyed a refreshment table, and Marten Meibaum provided musical accompaniment on the piano.
The evening concluded with book sales and autograph signing. The first print run was so successful that preparations for a reprint are already underway.
The book “Timeless Bible” is available at the Christian bookstore Logos and other bookstores.
The BMTS book series will soon continue with new titles authored by seminary faculty. Everyone is invited to follow BMTS activities on the website and social media, where updates about new books and training opportunities are shared.
